About Us

Bir Değersin Association is a civil society organization active in human rights, education, culture, art, youth work and social inclusion. With an approach centered on the value of the individual, it aims to carry out national and international work in equal access to opportunities, social inclusion, intercultural dialogue, democratic participation and lifelong learning.

MISSION

Our mission is to contribute to the development of a society respectful of human rights, inclusive, participatory and open to intercultural dialogue; and to support the social, academic and personal development of individuals through education, culture and art. Our association aims to develop sustainable projects aligned with European Union values that strengthen the participation of young people, disadvantaged groups and local communities in decision-making processes.

VISION

Our vision is to be a strong civil society organization that develops projects at national and international levels in human rights, education, culture and art, conducts academic-based work, plays an active role in European Union programs and produces social benefit.

OUR FOCUS AREAS

1. Human Rights and Social Inclusion

We carry out work guided by human dignity, equality, combating discrimination, equal opportunity and social justice. We aim to increase access to education, culture, art and social life for disadvantaged individuals and groups.

2. Education and Lifelong Learning

We develop training programs, workshops and learning models to increase the knowledge, skills and competencies of young people, educators, civil society workers and local communities.

3. Culture, Art and Intercultural Dialogue

We believe that culture and art are powerful tools for social harmony, freedom of expression, creativity and intercultural understanding.

4. Youth and Democratic Participation

We support young people to develop as individuals who are sensitive to social issues, active, productive and participatory.

5. Digital Transformation and Media Literacy

We support individuals' safe, ethical and conscious access to information in the digital age.

6. Green Transition and Sustainability

In alignment with the European Green Deal and sustainable development goals, we carry out activities in environmental awareness, climate awareness and green transition.
